The short story
Pressurised cabin, remote-controlled turrets, and a range that put Japan within reach from the Marianas — the most advanced bomber of the war, and the one that ended it. Duxford’s ‘It’s Hawg Wild’ flew the Korean War in black-and-silver night-intruder colours before crossing the Atlantic; it is the only complete Superfortress on this side of the ocean.
