Airspeed Horsa & Waco Hadrian

A procedural model built in Blender from the type’s published dimensions, painted as a Waco CG-4A Hadrian troop and cargo glider at the Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, recorded as CG-4A-FO 42-37123 with the tail of 45-6576 and rebuilt around an original steel-tube fuselage frame, displayed as it is there in the colours of ‘319764’ of the US Ninth Air Force: olive drab overall with five black and white invasion stripes on the lower rear fuselage, the star and bar on the rear fuselage, a white chalked ‘329’ on both sides of the nose, ‘BONJOUR Julie’ on the port side, a yellow ‘319764’ on the fin, the starboard cabin covered in clear film to show the orange steel-tube frame, benches and cockpit, the glazed nose, four portholes and the cargo door on the port side, fixed main wheels, nose skids and tail wheel; it is displayed with short stub wings and no lift struts, and is shown that way, the stub length is estimated from photographs and the chalk lettering is approximated.
