About this museum
North Weald's museum in the old station office covers a fighter station that ran from 1916 Zeppelin defence through the Battle of Britain to Norwegian Spitfire wings — three floors, idiosyncratically dense.
April–November; the airfield itself still hosts warbird traffic worth loitering for.
“Though small, this museum is well worth a visit!”— Mitch, visitor report
