Staverton and Croome
Jet Age Museum → RAF Defford Museum
Jet Age, then north up the M5 to Croome; jets built down the road, then the radar they carried.
Gloster built the Gladiator, the Meteor and the Javelin at Brockworth, just east of Gloucester. The Jet Age Museum tells that story at Gloucestershire Airport, Staverton, under 4 miles from the centre. Entry is by donation.
Distances are straight-line miles from Gloucester city centre; roads add a quarter to a half. Prices are adult admission from the gazetteer survey.

Yes. The 94 between Gloucester and Cheltenham passes the Meteor Business Park entrance. Use that entrance, not the main airport one.
