West through the New Forest are the Christchurch pair, Bournemouth Aviation Museum and the New Forest Airfields centre, both about 20 miles. The Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop is 18 miles north. The Boscombe Down collection at Old Sarum is 21 miles up the A36. Red Funnel crosses to the Isle of Wight for the free Sandown museum.
