Christchurch pair
Bournemouth Aviation Museum → New Forest Airfields Heritage Centre (FONFA)
The two Christchurch museums are a few miles apart; cockpits, then archive.
Bournemouth's airport at Hurn was a wartime RAF station, and de Havilland built Sea Vixens at Christchurch nearby. Bournemouth Aviation Museum is 4 miles north-east, beside the airport, and you can climb into most cockpits.
Distances are straight-line miles from Bournemouth city centre; roads add a quarter to a half. Prices are adult admission from the gazetteer survey.

Like Bournemouth's own museum, it lets visitors into most of its cockpits. The two Christchurch sites make an easy half-day from the town.
