A procedural model built in Blender from the type’s published dimensions, painted as No. 83 ‘8-MS’ of Escadre de Chasse 1/8, the Newark Air Museum’s Dassault Mystère IVA, a French Air Force swept-wing fighter-bomber with its Hispano-Suiza Verdon 350 turbojet, returned from French service to the US-funded MDAP pool at RAF Sculthorpe and on display at Newark since 1978, painted as it is shown today: bare aluminium with a dark anti-glare panel ahead of the windscreen, a yellow stepped cheat line along the fuselage, French roundels with yellow rings on the rear fuselage and on the upper wings, a black ‘8-MS’ on both sides, the ‘Mystère IV A’ script on the nose, a red ejection-seat triangle, the unit’s bird badge on the fin and yellow wing-tip pods.
