About this museum

Also known as / searched as: Chetton Museum · Chetton Harrier · Millington Harrier · Harrier XV808

Chetton Heritage Museum is a farmyard collection outside Bridgnorth, run by Roy and Julian Millington of Millington Engines and opened in December 2024. Its centrepiece stands outside: Harrier GR.3 XV808, bought in 2012 when Roy decided he would rather have the whole aircraft than the engine he had been offered, and coaxed back to a running Pegasus in 2014; it still taxies on the farm strip. Indoors are more than 25 aero engines, among them a Junkers Jumo dug up for the BBC's Dig 1940 and a P-47 Thunderbolt's engine from a Stoke-on-Trent crash site, alongside relics from local wrecks and the history of Chetton parish.

Listed inventory: 3 airframes.
