Where to see Second World War aircraft in the South East

The Battle of Britain was fought over Kent and Sussex. Manston was heavily bombed in August 1940, and Supermarine’s Woolston works in Southampton was bombed in September. In May 1943, 617 Squadron flew trial bouncing bombs from Manston to Reculver.
