This page is a living UK airshows 2026 calendar for military airshows, coastal free shows and warbird weekends. The dated calendar below is grouped by month — air shows in August, September and October — and shows only what is still to fly, so “what’s on this weekend” is answered at the top of the list rather than buried. Check the dated entries, then verify tickets and flying programmes on the organiser site. Airshow calendars move: stations lose dates to operations, seafront festivals get weather-called, and the biggest England air show dates shift with weekends.

August 2026
Seafront free shows, East Kirkby and the bank holiday run
Sat 8 – Sun 9 Aug
Grass-strip show on a wartime advanced landing ground. Parking and tickets are pre-booked.
Sat 8 – Sun 9 Aug
Free seafront viewing from the promenade. Confirm the flying list with Visit Blackpool nearer the date.
Thu 13 – Sun 16 Aug
A free seafront show — weather and council funding can affect the programme. Check visiteastbourne.com closer to the date.
Sat 15 Aug
Evening show with orchestra and fireworks. Bring a picnic and something to sit on.

Late-afternoon into evening flying. Check the IWM events page for the programme.

Free two-day seafront show, traditionally Thursday and Friday. Confirm on the official site.

Battle of Britain weekend
Fri 4 – Sat 5 Sep
Free seafront show over the Firth of Clyde; some enclosures are ticketed. Confirm with South Ayrshire Council.
Wed 9 Sep
Displays flown over the harbour. Dates occasionally shift with the Jersey display — verify locally.
Thu 10 Sep
Free viewing from the bay; grandstand seats ticketed. Confirm locally before booking travel.
Sat 12 – Sun 13 Sep
Duxford’s flagship commemorative weekend. Advance tickets only; parking permit required. Verify on the IWM site.

A historic motor-racing meeting with a strong aviation element on the former Battle of Britain airfield — not a conventional airshow.

RIAT 2026 at RAF Fairford was cancelled — do not travel for the Tattoo this year; organisers plan a 2027 return.

No confirmed 2026 date: Royal International Air Tattoo — Cancelled for 2026 — planned return 2027; Farnborough International Airshow — Typically mid-to-late July (even years); Duxford Summer Air Show — Typically early July (weekend); Shuttleworth Air Shows — Season: typically May–October; RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day — Typically mid-July (Saturday); Bournemouth Air Festival — Typically late August (multi-day).
