Where to see inter-war aircraft in the North of England

Northern England’s inter-war aviation centred on Manchester and Merseyside. Avro, founded in Manchester in 1910, built trainers and the Anson. Hooton Park, built in 1917, served as Merseyside’s airport for three years after 1927, and 610 Squadron formed there in 1936. Speke’s late-1930s terminal is now a hotel.
