Where to see Cold War aircraft in the North of England

The North built and tested Cold War aircraft as well as displaying them. Elvington’s runway, extended by the USAF in the 1950s, carried Buccaneer test flights in the early 1960s. Woodford built the Nimrod. Concorde, retired in 2003, has a hangar of her own at Manchester Airport.
