Where to see Second World War aircraft in the South West

The South West’s war was naval, experimental and American. The A&AEE moved to Boscombe Down in September 1939 to test the RAF’s aircraft. In Devon, Dunkeswell flew US Navy Liberators on anti-submarine patrols, and Upottery sent the 101st Airborne to Normandy on D-Day.
