Where to see Second World War aircraft in the East of England

East Anglia was the base of the American bomber war and much of the RAF’s fighter war. Duxford flew the first squadron Spitfires in 1938 and the USAAF’s 78th Fighter Group from 1943. B-24s flew from Norfolk and B-17s from Suffolk, Essex and Bedfordshire.
