Luton Airport opened in 1938, and Percival Aircraft built Proctors and Provosts there. The nearest museum is the De Havilland Aircraft Museum at London Colney, 13 miles south, where the Mosquito was designed. The prototype is there.
Distances are straight-line miles from Luton city centre; roads add a quarter to a half. Prices are adult admission from the gazetteer survey.

The Bedfordshire airfields, Fowlmere, Nuthampstead and IWM Duxford all fall within the 30-mile line.
