Where to see Second World War aircraft in the Midlands and Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire flew the bombers and the Midlands built and maintained them. 617 Squadron flew the Dams raid from Scampton in May 1943. East Kirkby lost 121 Lancasters on operations. Sywell built nearly 100 Lancasters, and Cosford issued Spitfires to squadrons.
